At Home Care Solution is proud to be certified by the California Association for Health Services at Home. This is a valuable seal of approval which demonstrates our commitment to consumer protection and our vow to provide superior service by skilled, screened caregivers.

Certification is only awarded to agencies which show proof of insurance, including general liability, a bond for potential employee dishonesty as well as worker's compensation insurance.

As a certified agency, At Home Care Solution has demonstrated that all of our home care aides have passed a pre-employment background clearance. This screening includes a criminal history check conducted by the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Certification demonstrates that we conduct a pre-employment tuberculosis screening for each individual hired as a caregiver by our company.

Finally, as a certified agency we have proven that all of our home care aides are employees, not general contractors. This protects our clients by ensuring that all applicable social security, employment and income taxes are paid.

Clients who hire caregivers from agencies who do not meet these standards or those who hire caregivers directly open themselves up to potential legal liability if state and federal employment laws are not followed. There is also the possibility that families may be held financially liable if a caregiver is injured in the home and there is no worker's compensation insurance in place.
